About Us

We are experienced attorneys from large national and international law firms in Chicago who decided to practice in a small firm to deliver better value to our clients and work in a more collegial environment closer to our homes. Established in 1995, we are about to celebrate our 15 year anniversary!

While our office is in Geneva, Illinois, just outside of Chicago, our practice remains national and international in scope. We also provide sophisticated legal services to many local companies.

Firm Overview

Our attorneys have extensive experience in a wide range of litigation and insurance matters, representing major domestic and international insurers and other corporations, small to mid-size companies, financial institutions, and individuals.  

Our attorneys also serve as outside general counsel to businesses, advising on corporate governance, owner relationships, leasing, licensing, contracting, financing, employment, real estate, construction, environmental matters, tax, and acquisitions. We served as start-up counsel for many businesses, including US subsidiaries of non-US companies.

We also offer an array of services involving environmental law, including advice about compliance, defense of legal proceedings, and attorney-client privileged audits of environmental liabilities, factories, plants, and other facilities.

We also have an estate planning, trust administration and probate practice that includes succession planning for family business.  

We are proud that other attorneys and professionals are a significant source of referrals. We have assisted other attorneys with lawsuits in Kane, DuPage, DeKalb, Kendall, and Cook Counties in Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and frequently are referred conflict matters or asked to associate in as counsel because of our experience and expertise.
